Happy Birthday Mum!

A massive happy birthday to my beautiful mummy darling! She's wonderful and fabulous and deserves the most magnificent day!

We four children bought her the Orla Keily Eau de parfum 100ml, which she loved.

I made a roast vegetables in balsamic vinegar risotto and a macaroni cheese with bread crumb and tomato topping. We had an Eton mess and bread and butter pudding for afters.

Twas loverly!

Love you Mum!

For anyone thats interested..

I found a swimming costume that fits! Hoorah!

Its this rather lovely number from Oasis. Its a wrap-around so it fits in at my waist and I can pull it tight to fit better across my top. Marvelous!

The 10 year hunt is over!

Obviously it looks a bit different on me..but this is it..

On Sunday Andrew and I are going to meet Hazel, Jonni, Rosenwyn and Edyn for a day trip to Centre Parcs at Longleat Forest. We will be swimming in the lagoon (hense the swimming costume), doing a treasure hunt and having a tasty lunch. Andrew and Jonni will go off and do man things like archery and me and Hazel will take the kiddliewinks to do some more child friendly activities.
Finger crossed the weather stays this beautiful!

I cant wait to see them and have lots of fantastic fun!

What the heck do pear shaped people who dont like showing there legs wear swimming?

So, swimming costumes are a no no because my butt is like 2 sizes bigger than my top half. Tankini's are never long enough and just ping up onto my waist. I'm not really feeling the bikini look, I may blind people with my lilly white skin..and..nope thats all the options.

Maybe I should just get a burkini..Nigella style.

What I'd like to wear
What I should wear

What I do wear. (unfortunately not aloud in the pool)

Any advice?..

Andrew and I have decided that we are going to start up an Etsy shop selling our art.

We are in the first stages of development deciding on the name, the type of art we want to sell, price, target market etc. We know that there are some amazing little Etsy shops and shoppers out there.

If anyone has any tips or advice that they would like to share, please do!

We will be very grateful!

Thank you and night night.

It Doesn't Look Wright..

When we lived in Cardiff Andrew became involved with live drawing competition events called Secret Wars. We'd go to a club, there would be hip hop bands, break dancers and artists. Each artist would have a large white board and 90 minutes to draw whatever they wished using black marker pens. After taking part in several competitions Andrew was asked to become a member of the Cardiff Secret Wars team and to take part in the Euro League. The team of 6 artists did extremely well but did not win.

In November Andrew started competing again in another competition along the same lines, called Spar Wars. He won the first round with his drawing of a giant panda destroying a city. Last night Andrew and I returned to Cardiff for the next round. It was a pretty quiet night, not many people about due to a massive student thing the night before, but it was still good fun with some excellent music. The theme for last nights event was 'Gangsters and Broads'. The winner is usually decided by the loudest audience response but last nights was a tie..So it goes to someone else to judge, which means we still don't know who has actually won..I shall let you know when we know!
